Then I cried :') ↘
To my future wife,
I pray you set your eyes on Jesus. He loves you so much. More then I ever will! Even though I will pour out everything I have with all the strength and courage I have, He seeks you out and loves being near you.
Tonight I pray for you—wherever you are—that God will bless, comfort, and heal you. Not that you are broken and need to be fixed. You may be…but it’s more healing from the bumps bruises and little knocks we take in life.
I pray your giftings are released, that self doubts dissipate. Yes, you have weaknesses, but through the rose tinted glasses of how God sees you, you are a precious jewel. Gracious and compassionate, overflowing in love. Talented and gifted in so many facets of your life.
I pray you cherish your sensitivity. Although you might see it as a weakness, it is one of your greatest assets. I will overlook things you see and understand. I pray your heart stays soft and you don’t feel the need to harden up.
I pray you feel safe to flourish and simply be authentic in who you are.
I pray you can relax in the joy of friendship and family
I pray that God has not given you a spirit of fear but of love power and a sound mind.
I pray that you don’t feel the pressure to attract the right one. It will happen naturally. Trust me.
I pray that you are covered in peace. I pray that your soul is awakened to the presence of the holy spirit like you have never known before.
Dear God! I am so blessed. You are so beautiful, so attractive, so sneaky.
I love it. I love you. Take care, my radiant bride. I might not be coming around the corner riding a white horse, but I’m doing everything I can to cultivate a healthy inner life. A heart that is big expansive and soft before God. A lifestyle free of petty insecurities. To abide with Jesus and you.
My love & my man of God, I have died everyday waiting for you. I’ll keep waiting. I love you. :’)
Dear God,
Lately, I’ve been into deep personal problems - that even I, myself is having a hard time to put these deep thoughts into words. I always store Your words in my heart God, but there are really times, like right now that I feel so unlovely, unsecured, looking for something I’m not even sure what it is.
I don’t know what to do but to seek more of You. Please enlighten my heart and align my desires to Your will. Let me not be deceived by this world’s lies. Let Your will be done, God. Make me the kind of young woman you want me to be.
Amen.
The Bible should be the very first book you open everyday and the last thing you should read before going to sleep.
All of my days
I will sing of Your greatness
All of my days
I will speak of Your grace
All of my days
I will tell of Your wonderous love
Your love in my life

To My Future Wife:
Divorce will never be an option. We won’t even talk about it, except to tell each other that it will never happen. There will be times that we will be so pissed off at each other that we’ll want to do it, but I won’t ever let you go. I’ve searched and waited for too freaking long to lose you. I promise you that I will fail at many things, but this will not be one of them. I cannot keep this promise with my feeble, human strength; Jesus will be the strength that holds this promise together.
I burst into tears :’)
I can’t change facts nor feelings and esteem but i know He can. :’) Thank You God.
Peace I leave with you; My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Do not let your heart be troubled, nor let it be fearful. - John 13:31

Savior I come
Quiet my soul remember
Redemption hill
Where Your blood was spilled
For my ransom
Everything I once held dear
I count it all as lost
Lead me to the cross
Where Your love poured out
Bring me to my knees
Lord I lay me down
Rid me of myself
I belong to You
Lead me, lead me to the cross
You were as I
Tempted and trialed
You are
The word became flesh
Bore my sin and death
Now You’re risen
To Your heart
To Your heart
Lead me to Your heart
Lead me to Your heart
Now we’re mocking each other instead of helping each other see where we were wrong? That’s not what we’re supposed to be doing, not at all. “Do everything in love.

Far Beyond - Eric and Leslie Ludy
I hear it in a love song or see it on a movie screen
The kind of perfect love story that i have always dreamed
Would somehow come into my life
And yet it seems so out of reach
It’s all I think about sometimes
Will I ever find a love that’s meant to be?
Maybe these thoughts seem foolish
To a holy God who made the sea and land
But you were the One who created
Love between a woman and a man
And deep inside I hear you say
You see all my hopes and fears
And if I give to you the pen of my life
You’ll write a tale that all heaven can cheer
Far beyond my deepest heart’s desire
Far beyond what I could ever dream
Far beyond my fairy tale imaginations
Is your perfect plan for me
There’s no limit to romance in all its beauty
When the author of love shapes my destiny
Far beyond the most that i could long for
I will find the dreams you have dreamed for me
I could search forever
I could look for true love everywhere
If all my dreams were answered
They still could not compare
To the beauty of Your ways
And all Your plans for my life
‘cause You’ve been scripting out a story for me
Before the very foundations of time
“But I will trust in thee.” Psalm 55:23
“Heaven might be brass today, and God withdrawn and silent, but I will trust in Thee,” he said. “Winds may be howling and demons may be growling, and all things lovely to behold may be blown away, but I will trust in Thee. My heart is faint, my hopes are dim, and my power is gone, but I will trust in Thee. And though friends have fallen and turned to foes, and none can give solace to my deeper wounds, nevertheless I will trust in Thee.”
“For God so love the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life.” - John 3:16
—
This world can’t offer you a love that will last for eternity.
Every time you go to church; every time you spread the Word; every time you praise His name and every time you profess your faith in Christ; your flesh will fight against you. Your body will desire that of this world. Do not yield! Instead, find complete hope and strength in Jesus and what he did for us! And pray. Pray always and never cease!
Dear my future husband,
I can’t wait to encourage you every day.
I can’t wait to hold you, watch you sleep, paint your wonderful smiles and take photos together.
I can’t wait to feel like I’m the prettiest girl and the most precious one in the world just to be with such an amazing man.
I can’t wait to tell all of my friends about how incredible you are, in every way.
I can’t wait to tell you constantly how much I admire and respect you.
I’m not the most patient person in the world. I hate waiting for anything.
But you… you’re worth it. You’re VERY MORE than worth it. And if it means that it will make you happier, make you the kind of person God wants you to be, or make me more deserving of you, I will wait, gladly. Yes, I will wait for you with a joyful heart.
I love you, man of my dreams- and I know that God will make that dreams come true in His time.
I love you.
Your princess,
Jen
True Colors
“You know that under pressure, your faith-life is forced into the open and shows its true colors.” (James 1:3, The Message)
During a pregame talk with the Colorado Buffaloes some years ago I asked the question, “What do you get when you squeeze a lemon?” Of course the standard answer fired back from coaches and players alike, “Lemon juice!”
But what nobody knew that morning was that I had filled the lemon with ketchup. When I squeezed it tight and the red liquid oozed over my hand, they were all taken back.
“You’re wrong,” I then said. “The actual answer is that you get whatever is inside it.”
At that point I had them right where I wanted them, and then asked, “So, what’s inside you? What are we going to see when pressure puts the squeeze on you?” The answer is the same to the lemon question; we will see whatever is in you.
The great C. S. Lewis said, “A sudden provocation does not make me an ill-tempered man. It shows what an ill-tempered man I am.” James tells us in his letter that “under pressure, your faith-life is forced into the open and shows its true colors.” Maybe this is why the Lord provides so many wonderful opportunities for us to be squeezed.
The origin of the phrase “true colors” comes from naval parlance back in the days when pirates sailed the high seas. Vessels would always fly on their topmast the flag of their country of origin. But pirates were notorious for hoisting the flags of different nations so as to gain an advantage against unsuspecting vessels. However, under no circumstance would any honorable Captain ever fly false colors. Thus, the phrase “true colors” indicates authenticity in both motive and manner.
The Lord wants to make us truly authentic men and women, but to get us there He has to squeeze out the other stuff – and He will do so with unrelenting pressure until there is nothing left to ooze.
So, you been feeling squeezed lately?
